What is Counselling?

Counselling is having a conversation with a trained listener/helper, where you talk and firstly identify your issues.

It's then a process of working together to find your answers without advice or judgement.


Who I can help

Individual Counselling »

I work with individual clients on a number of issues; Depression, Anger, Relationships, Bereavement, Anxiety, Suicide, Self Esteem & Confidence, Panic Attacks, Addictions, Trauma & Abuse.

Couple Counselling »

I help couples resolve relationship-related difficulties:  Infidelity, sexual dysfunction, fertility, communication.

Groups »

I offer:

  • Therapeutic support groups
  • Mindfulness Stress Reduction groups.
  • Mediation to teams and groups to help resolve conflicts and disputes.

Supervision »

I offer workplace and clinical supervision to professionals and practitioners 


How to start

Clients call or email, have a quick chat and then and arrange an intial appointment lasting about 60 mins.

Within 48 hours we speak again to decide the right path of action for you.


Sessions

Counselling sessions: usually once a week for a 50 minute session.
In some instances, if required/appropriate, more than one session each week may be necessary for an initial period of time.
